As I looked over this week's workout schedule and our family's schedule I said, "Yikes!" Creativity and flexibility is a must to get through. We've got pumpkin carving on Monday, Ward Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday, Halloween on Wednesday, and a Piano Recital on Thursday. Phew!
Yesterday, Travis and I came down with some stomach bug and were not feeling great at all. Regardless, I got up and met my running partner for a 49-minute 5.6 mile run this morning. The rest of the day, I've felt awful and haven't been able to function well. Travis stayed home from work and we were sick together. Therefore, I'm gonna have to switch my swim workout scheduled for today to Wednesday night. We're going to take the kids swimming instead of trick-or-treating! :) I know some parents will think we're mean, but we are doing the ward trunk-or-treat the night before where they get a TON of candy, so I think we're good. One year we took them to a movie on Halloween night......best movie night ever! There was no one else in the theater! Anyway, this sickness better pass soon, because I have spin class in the morning!
